Jan Rowland of City Line Studios offers a drawing workshop of all skill levels on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. at the Village Center. Enter the mysterious world of powdered graphite and create a strong drawing of dark and light tones. You’ll learn to observe objects, experiment with new materials and techniques. Please wear old clothing and bring two HB pencils, an eraser and pencil sharpener. The cost is $50 for residents; $65 for nonresidents. Space is limited. Sign up online by Sept. 23.
