Celebrate all things autumn at our community festival

From brightly blazing leaves to pumpkin spice everything, autumn offers a cornucopia of sights, scents and tastes designed to delight. Join us as we pay homage to this spectacular season during our annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., in Hubert Humphrey Park in front of the Village Center. In the event of inclement weather, we’ll move indoors to the Village Center. This year’s Fall Festival features a perennial favorite—tasty empanadas from Don Pollo. Also enjoy a sweet seasonal treat and the sounds of the Hector Garcia Jr. Band. Refreshments will be served from 1 to 2:30 p.m., while supplies last. We’ll also have a variety of fun activities for children, including our popular Hay Play area, weather permitting! The community is invited to bring a canned good to kick off our annual autumn food drive to benefit Manna Food Bank in Gaithersburg. Look for the cardboard cutout harvest truck. Please join us for this seasonal community celebration.
