Movie: Remarkably Bright Creatures

Come to the Village Center on Thursday, May 28, at 7 p.m. to watch Remarkably Bright Creatures. Based on the bestselling novel by Shelby Van Pelt, the Netflix film Remarkably Bright Creatures follows Tova Sullivan (Sally Field), a grieving widow working the night shift at a local aquarium. She forms an unlikely bond with a grumpy, elderly giant Pacific octopus named Marcellus (voiced by Alfred Molina). Together, they work to solve the decades-old mystery of her son’s disappearance and connect with a wayward young man (Lewis Pullman) in a story focused on connection, grief, and wonder. Rated PG.
