Learn more about end-of-life care and planning

On Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m., the Friendship Heights Neighbors Network (FHNN), in coordination with the Friendship Heights Village Center, will host geriatric nurse care manager and nurse practitioner Dixcy Bosley. She will discuss end-of-life care. During this session, Bosley will address how to obtain and learn about forms to document your decisions regarding end-of-life care, as well as provide information as to which states accept out-of-state residents for end-of-life choices. The Village Council has provided a grant to Dr. David Rabin for educational programs and individual sessions on end-of-life planning for the residents planning for
Friendship Heights residents. The grant also includes a number of individual sessions for Friendship Heights residents to review their options with Bosley at Iona Senior Services in Washington, D.C. Registration will be coordinated by FHNN. For more information, go to the FHNN website, www.fhneighbors.org.
