Want to testify at the Planning Board’s FH Sector Plan Hearings in September?

The Montgomery County Planning Board is now accepting sign-ups from community members who want to testify at the Board’s public hearing on the Friendship Heights Sector Plan. Residents can sign up to testify here. The
public hearing will be held in two parts:

Part 1: Thursday, September 10 at 1:30 p.m., for both in-person and virtual testimony. Located at the M-NCPPC Wheaton Headquarters, 2nd floor Auditorium, 2425 Reedie Drive, Wheaton, MD 20902.

Part 2: Monday, September 14 at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., for in-person testimony only. Located at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center, 4805 Edgemoor Lane, Bethesda, MD 20814.

To ensure the Planning Board can hear from as many people as possible, people should sign up for only one of the public hearing dates; duplicate testimony is not permitted. Both dates are considered part of the same hearing, and both will be livestreamed and recorded. You do not need to sign up to attend, only to testify.

The sign-ups will close at noon two business days before each part of the public hearing. For September 10, the sign-up will close on September 8, and for September 14, the sign-up will close on September 10.
