Suburban Lecture: Hot news about those hot flashes

Hormones affect women’s energy, mood, sleep, and overall well-being, but there can be some fear, confusion and mixed messages. Ahan Lamar Hunter M.D., gynecology and obstetrics physician with Johns Hopkins Medicine Gynecology & Obstetrics, will address concerns many women have about hormones and provide clear, balanced information about the roles of progesterone, estrogen, and testosterone in the body during this month’s Suburban Lecture on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 1 p.m., at the Village Center.
