Storytime takes us to the zoo

Preschoolers will delight in the sights and sounds of zoo animals brought to life on the pages of books by Eric Carle, Peggy Rathman, and Rod Campbell, and during our storytime on Tuesday, July 11, at 10 a.m., at the Village Center. Our volunteer will read “Dear Zoo,” “Good Night Gorilla,” “1,2,3 to the Zoo” and “From Head to Toe.” We’ll also have a fun, zoo-themed craft. Parents/caregivers are welcome to stay and visit until 11 a.m. The event is free, but please call the Village Center at 301-656-2797 to reserve a spot. Children must be accompanied by an adult or caregiver. Village Storytime takes place the second Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m at the Village Center.
