Join us on Monday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m., at the Village Center when Village resident and councilmember Cheryl Tyler will discuss and sign her book “Trailblazer” during an informal interview with former WJLA reporter Kathleen Matthews. In her captivating memoir, Tyler uncovers the untold story of the challenges she faced as a woman of color in the predominately male, all-white Presidential Protective Division of the United States Secret Service.
