Movie: The Nutcracker

This movie features the New York City Ballet resplendently dancing to George Balanchine’s 1965 choreography of the beloved fairytale in which a young girl’s doll becomes a prince. Narrated by Academy Award winner Kevin Kline and including MacCauley Culkin as the Prince, this production is sumptuous and entertaining for the whole family, and is set off, of course, by Tchaikovsky’s famous Nutcracker Suite.
