Village Center Pilates instructor Dawn Maynard continues her series of monthly wellness talks focused on healthy aging, movement, and practical nutrition in July.
On Friday, July 10 , from 11 to 11:45 a.m., Maynard will present “Movement is medicine, why the body needs to move everyday.” Maynard bring more than 30 years of experience as a personal trainer and eight years as a pilates instructor.
“My goal is to help people understand and embrace that staying healthy and strong does not require extreme programs or complicated diets, but rather simple daily habits that support mobility, strength, and overall well-being, ” Maynard said.
Growing up in South America, Maynard said she was raised with a strong culture of fresh food, home cooking, and natural movement in everyday life. “These influences continue to shape my approach to health and fitness today,” she said.
The talks will be interactive, practical, and designed especially for adults interested in improving their strength, mobility, and quality of life as they age.
