Glass Jewelry Workshop—Make two pieces of jewelry

Have fun and make beautiful jewelry on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., when glass artist Merrilee Harrigan of the Joy of Glass leads this Sunday workshop !

Learn how glass behaves, learn to cut glass, and fashion a pendant, set of earrings, ring and/or bracelet. Choose from many colors and types of glass, including brilliant dichroic and iridescent and “alchemy” glass that turns silver to gold.

Make jewelry to wear or to gift. No experience necessary— let your creativity bloom!

The cost is $100 for residents and $125 for nonresidents.

All materials included: kiln firing, sterling bails, silver-plate settings, and chain. Participants will need to return two days later to pick up their finished jewelry.

Registration is required. Sign up by Oct. 7. Space is limited to a maximum of seven students.
