Explore the wonderful world of watercolor with two free demos

Join us on Tuesday, April 16, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., for an exploration of the watercolor medium and a chance for each participant to try out watercolors and surfaces with watercolorist Karen Norman. Her award-winning paintings have earned Karen Norman signature membership in the National Watercolor Society, Baltimore Watercolor Society and Potomac Valley Watercolorists. On Saturday, April 27, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Alexandra Treadaway-Hoare demonstrates how stencils can open up a whole new world of watercolor. Her works have been part of more than 160 group shows, six solos shows receiving recognition, as well as an Award of Excellence for an art competition hosted in Malyasia.
