In A Woman of Firsts: Margaret Heckler, Political Trailblazer, author Kimberly Heckler highlights the remarkable life of her mother-in-law Margaret O’Shaughnessy Heckler, the first woman to earn a “triple crown” in politics: serving in Congress (R-MA), in a presidential Cabinet, and as a U.S. ambassador—all groundbreaking achievements for a woman of her era. During a book event on Thursday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m., at the Village Center, Kimberly Heckler will discuss how her mother-in-law played a pivotal role in some of the most
consequential moments for women in history. Please read more details in the Village News.
