Explore the art of arranging flowers of the tropics

In celebration of Asian-American Pacific Islander Month, Pam Maidl of Interior Garden Design will demonstrate how to create an arrangement using the principals of the Ikebana on Wednesday, May 21, at 1 p.m. Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement, a practice rooted in Buddhist and Chinese philosophies that emphasizes harmony, minimalism, and the beauty of nature.
