Concert: Tony Nalker and Christal Rheams

Tony Nalker performs widely in the Washington, D.C. area, currently serving as jazz pianist with the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra and the National Symphony Pops. Nalker has played for the highest levels of the US government and military and performed internationally on behalf of the U.S. State Department, in addition to performing on hundreds of recording in a variety of musical genres. A vocalist of more than 20 years, soldier and performing artist Christal Rheams has dedicated her life to helping people connect with music and the lasting force it has on human connections that make an impact. Rising to the rank of Sergeant Major, she joined the world-renowned US Army Band Pershing’s Own, among many other achievements. On “America’s Got Talent” Christal Rheams placed fifth as a member of the vocal quartet Voices of Service. Please read more about these extraordinary musicians in the Village News.
