Concert: Halley Shoenberg Jazz Trio

Halley Shoenberg Jazz Trio will perform a concert of modern jazz and swing with elements of funk, rock and Latin jazz. They will play standards and originals reflecting 100 years of jazz including the modern influences of Chick Corea, Weather Report, and Branford Marsalis. Clarinet/saxophone player Halley Shoenberg has been a dynamic presence throughout the DC area for decades, performing and recording for her own ensemble as well as other groups, at venues such as Blues Alley, Embassy of France, the African American Civil War Memorial, to name a few (read more in the Village News). Harry Appleman, on piano, and Cyndy Elliott, on bass, will perform with Halley Shoenberg at the Village Center.
