Concert: Aula de Flamenco

Join us as we continue our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month with a captivating performance of Flamenco by Aula de Flamenco on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. Perkins is a featured soloist with the U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors.

TorcuArt’s Aula de Flamenco seeks to deepen understanding of flamenco’s social and historical roots and to highlight its significance in Spanish culture through a 90-minute session features an engaging discussion followed by a live artistic performance or flamenco demonstration. This beautiful art form emerged in southern Spain in the 16th century from the blending of three cultures and three religions. Over time, it has carried the stories and spirit of its people, serving as a powerful vehicle for expression.
