Concert: Abshire Trio

Guitarist Steve Abshire joins pianist Fred Hughes and bassist Amy Shook for an evening of jazz. Abshire has played in the ranks of jazz greats Herb Ellis, Joe Pass, and Barney Kessel. He is an alumnus of the Commodores, and has accompanied well-known vocalist Della Reese. Shook is one of the most popular acoustic bassists in the mid-Atlantic, coveted for her huge sound and infectious, driving groove. As pianist and soloist for the Jazz Ambassadors, Hughes has performed in all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, Japan and Europe. Join us on Wednesday, July 26 at 7PM.
