Enjoy an old-fashioned celebration as our annual Independence Day festivities return on Friday, July 4, from 2 to 4 p.m., in Hubert Humphrey Park in front of the Village Center. Village residents are invited to savor a little New Orleans flavor with music from Zachary Smith and the Mardi Gras Kings. Children and adults alike will delight in the sleight of hand antics of magician Mister Barry, and kids’ face painting from DC Face Painting. For a peek into the future, visit our fortune teller Ariana Lightningstorm. This year we’ll feature hot dogs from Catalyst Hot Dogs and more–see the Village News for more details. In the event of inclement weather, the festivities move indoors to the Village Center. See you on the Fourth!
