CATF artistic director previews Shepherdstown plays

Contemporary American Theater Arts Artistic Director Peggy McKowen will discuss the annual summer festival in Shepherdstown and previews the two plays we’ll attend — “Did My Grandfather Kill My Grandfather?” and “Kevin Kling: Unraveled” — when she speaks at the Village Center on Friday, July 13, at 2 p.m. McKowen joined the festival in 2006 as a costume designer and has since served as associate artistic director, then acting artistic producing director. In 2021, she succeeded founder Ed Herendeen in leading the festival. To reserve a seat, registration is suggested.
