Art Reception: Open Studio Artists

We are excited to announce the fourth edition of the Village Artists show, on view from June 29 through Aug. 22 in the Friendship Gallery.

The exhibition will feature original works by artists who,participate in the Village Center Open Studio. This year, the show highlights images of the vibrant cityscape of our neighborhood, including some of its most beloved corners — parks, streets, sculptures, buildings, stores, and pathways — that regain new life through each artist’s eyes.

The artwork, inspired by our neighborhood, spans a wide range of styles and techniques, from abstract to realism and from experimental to flow art. Works will be available for purchase.

Meet the artists during a reception on Thursday, July 16, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Village Center. The Village Center is open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Art in the auditorium is occasionally not available for viewing because of activities in the room. Please check with the front desk upon arrival. All sales are final.
