In this twisted story of revenge, aspiring reporter Charlotte Cooper has two weeks to find the person who threatened to post five explicit photos of her online if she doesn’t submit to their demands. Her secret past has come to haunt her and rob her of her recent on-air TV reporting job, her lover (reunited after six years), and the home she’s made in London. Join author Herta Feely as she discusses her newest novel, “Strange Shape of Love” on Monday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m., at the Village Center. Feely is the also the author of “Saving Phoebe Murrow,” her debut novel exploring the dangers of social media and teen mental health. She is a writer and editor based in Friendship Heights. Her work has been published in numerous literary journals and recognized with awards in both fiction and nonfiction. Copies of “Strange Shape of Love” will be available for purchase.
