Take an AARP safe driving class in July

The AARP Driver Safety Program returns to the Village Center on Saturday, July 29, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with instructor Ken Ow. The class offers safe driving techniques for drivers over 50 and older. At the completion of the class, students will be given a certificate that they can present to their insurance company for a discount, if applicable. The session includes a 30-minute break. Residents may bring a brown-bag lunch. Register at the Village Center. The cost of the one-day class is $20 for AARP members (you must bring your membership card when registering) or $25 for non-members. Payment is by cash or check payable to AARP. All students must bring their drivers license and a ballpoint pen to class.
