Giant Supermarket Pharmacy will administer high-dose and regular flu, and by request, RSV, shots to Village residents on Tuesday, Oct. 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Village Center. Please bring your Medicare or insurance card, waiver, and photo i.d. to your appointment. If not covered by Medicare or insurance, the FluZone and Fluad are: Fluzone $136; and Fluad, $132. The regular dose vaccine prices are
FluZone $63; Flucelvax $78; and Fluarix, $60. Appointments are required and may be made online beginning Thursday, Sept 5. Please go to our website, www.friendshipheightsmd.gov to sign up through the SignupGenius link. If the new Covid vaccine is available, residents can sign up for it when receiving the flu shot.
