Come cheer us on as compete in the Cardboard Boat Race

Construction has started and now we’re looking fo cheerleaders! The Friendship Heights Village Center is teaming up with the Wisconsin Place Recreation Center to build a cardboard boat to compete in the Senior Cardboard Boat Regatta at the Martin Luther King Swim Center on Wednesday, March 12, from 10:15 a.m. to noon. Please review important details in the Village News. Building sessions occur at Wisconsin Place every Tuesday through March 4 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. There is no fee to participate and transportation to/from the swim center will be provided! The first 12 participants will receive a special regatta gift. Registration is required. Please click on the Sign-Up for Programs link at the top of this page.
