The healing power of music has been discussed for decades. Join us for a look at the connection between music and mental health on Thursday, April 30, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Village Center. During this interactive music and panel discussion, bestselling author, songwriter, and empowerment coach Emma G teams up with music therapist Iliana Fernandez and music and cognitive neuroscientist Marsha Goodman-Wood for “Mental Health Sounds Like This.” The evening will feature a book talk by Emma G, author of “Mental Health Sounds Like This,” then brief musical performances, followed by a panel discussion. Doors open at 6:30, and refreshments will be served prior to the book talk. Registration is required. Please click on the “Sign Up for Programs” at the top of the page to register.
