Suburban Lecture on Melanoma Treatment and Prevention

Melanoma is the most serious type of skin cancer. Knowing the warning signs of skin cancer can help ensure that changes in the skin are detected and treated in a timely manner.

Dr. Ashwani Rajput, director of Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center in the National Capital Region, will review prevention steps to protect you from skin cancer during this month’s Suburban Lecture on Wednesday, October 12m from 1 to 2 p.m., via Zoom. He will also highlight how clinicians at the Johns Hopkins Melanoma Program are actively developing treatments to fight this cancer.
