Let’s go to the Sheep and Wool Festival

It’s a sure sign of spring as the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival–the largest and longest running showcase of domestic sheep and wool in the county– comes to Howard County during the first weekend of May. Join us as we travel to the festival and discover the beauty of sheep, the warmth of wool, delicious cuisine, family fun, entertainment and more on Sunday, May 7. We’ll depart the Village Center at 10:30 a.m. and should return by 5:30 p.m. The trip’s cost includes festival admission and round-trip transportation, and is $45 for residents; $60 for nonresidents. The price increases on April 17 to $55 for residents, $65 for nonresidents. For more details, call the Village Center at 301-656-2797.
