Friendship Gallery honors the ancient art of Chinese Brush

Twenty artists from the National Capital Area Chapter of the Sumi-e Society will exhibit in Friendship Gallery in May as part of Asian-American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The exhibit features more than 50 works of this beautiful and unique art form. Meet the artists at a reception on Saturday, May 20, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Village Center. During this special extended reception, artists will demonstrate their painting techniques. The Village Center is open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Art in the auditorium is occasionally unavailable for viewing because of activities in that room. Please check with the front desk upon arrival. All sales are final.
