Early September exhibit and reception

Zsudayka Nzinga and James Terrell, two extraordinary artists with bold spiritual and community narratives, exhibit in the Friendship Gallery this month. Zsudayka Nzinga’s work contains a lot of patterns and symbolism. James Terrell, a native Washingtonian, has had artwork exhibited across the country and he has had solo shows at museums. Meet the artists during an artists’ reception on Thursday, Sept. 7, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Village Center. Art in the auditorium is occasionally not available for viewing because of activities in that room. Please check with the front desk upon arrival. All sales are final.
