The Washington Abstract Artists Group (WAAG) will return to the Friendship Gallery this April. These DC-area artists specialize in abstract artworks and met through classes taught by Delna Dastur at Smithsonian Associates, the educational arm of the Smithsonian Institution. WAAG was brought to Friendship Heights by longtime resident and WAAG member Ana C. Gardano. Join us to meet the artists at a reception on Sunday, April 16, from 11:30-1 p.m. at the Village Center. The exhibit runs from April 3 to April 29. Art in the auditorium is occasionally unavailable because of activities in that room. Please check with the front desk upon arrival. All sales are final.
